Power Energy UK is a company based in Hertfordshire. We work with lettings agents, landlords and privately owned properties.
We work with letting agents and landlords to provide Energy Performance certificates (EPC) for properties to highlight how energy efficient a property is. Through our survey we are able to highlight measures that can be added to a property to improve the energy efficiency and to reduce costs for tenants.
We have Retrofit Assessors available to carry out assessments on properties. We work with installers, who work under a variety of funded schemes. For example, the Great British Insulation Scheme and ECO4 scheme. These schemes could help to provide tenants with free cavity wall or loft insulation, upgrade their heating systems and also install solar panels.

Insulation for rental properties
Currently around 60% or rental properties have an EPC rating of a D or below. GBIS funding is available to rental properties to improve energy efficiency.
Landlords who own properties with a low EPC rating can contact us to see if a property will qualify for the scheme. Better insulating your rental portfolio will lower energy costs for your tenants, and will make sure it remains eligible as a rental property. In the coming years there are proposals to reach a minimum EPC rating of a C for a rental property. Current legislation states the minimum rating sits at an E. Cavity Wall Insulation or Loft insulation is one way in which the EPC rating can be increased.
